Duo – this Latin word means two, one plus one. The word participates in the legal maxim “duo non possunt in solido unam rem possidere”, used in the Property Law. It states that there can not be two owners who to own one property 100% ownership everyone. Either these may own half each, or to agree on different shares amounting totally to 100%.
