Devenio – this Latin verb literally means to come to, arrive at, and reach. In the legal practice, it applies in the Transportation Law, where determines the point of delivery, which the transporter should reach. The word “devenio” also relates to the legal term “devenerunt”, which related to an old writ, ordering the esoheator to find out what lands held in capite fell to the King by the death of the tenant, and of the heir while being under age.
