Desino (or “desiit”) – this Latin verb literally means to cease, stop, end leave off, give over. For example, a party may be asked to stop their behavior or to cancel their wrongful actions if it is harmful for the legal interests of other parties. This is interpretation of the fundamental legal principle at the Civil Law that your legal rights end there, where the legal rights of other people appear.
