Defero – this Latin verb literally means to hand over, carry down, communicate, offer, and refer. For example, in the sphere of Law of Contracts parties communicate and negotiate in order to reach conclusion about a contract to be signed between them. They exchange offers and proposals duing their communication in order to meet their points. Synonyms are “exhibeo”, “offero” and “refero”.
