Latin Legal Terms

Contrado – in practice, this Latin term applies in the area of Shipping Services & Maritime Transportation, where it means to deliver together, or wholly (i.e. unbroken goods/items safely) the cargo towards the recipient. The delivered goods should be in a condition which confirms the proper performance of the obligations of the shipper, and this condition raises no bases for the recipient to rise claims for damages during the transportation.
