Latin Legal Terms

Contemplatio – this Latin verb details the act of survey, contemplation, inspection. In the legal practice, this is part of the lawyer’s job – to examine the terms and conditions of presented draft agreement and to outline these that need to be amended. Another example is with the job done by a surveyor who checks newly built real estates – he examines the finishing works performed, and prepares a snagging list for the property, which presents to the owner or investor.
