Construo – this Latin word means to construct; to assemble; to arrange (something). In practice, the word is often used in the legal maxim “dubio legis construction quam verba ostendunt”, applicable in the area of Court Procedures. There it provides that in a doubtful interptetation the expression of words should be namely the one given by the Law. In other words, people should obey the meanings given by the statutes, when interpreting words.
