Quae – this Latin word means “those”. In the legal practice, it participates in the phrase “Quae contra rationem juris introducta sunt, non debent trahi in consequentiam”. This is legal maxim means: Those facts, introduced to be opposite to the reason of the law ought not to be established as legal precedent; resp. not to be followed.
