Maiores – In the legal practice, this Latin term refers to the figures of the ancestors (within the Inheritance Law). The word relates to the legal term “Mos Maiorum”, which gives the name of an unwritten, moral Code of legal rules, inspired by cultural traditions of the Romans, and separated by the written Laws.
