Cognovit actionem

Cognovit actionem – this legal term literally means “he has confessed the action”. In the legal practice, it is used in the area of court trials, where details a line of defense by the defendant, expressed via confession of the merits and the legal action, performed by the claimant against them. The role of such defense is to end up the case in short terms and even if there will be a decision against the defendant, it will terminate the dispute with a legal force of given justice.
