Cetera or “ceterus”– this Latin term means: For the rest, the remaining, the others. The word is used in two famous phrases: “Et cetera”, which means “end the rest”; as well in the phrase “ceteris paribus” that means “all other things are equal”. It refers to eliminating extraneous factors in particular situation, when discussing it.
