Ab absurdo

Ab absurdo – this term applies within the sphere of Court Proceedings in some legal systems, where details a presumption (usually this will be the opposite party’s statement) which leads to absurdity or fiction. I.e. it is attack of the statement of the opposite party, stating that there is no possibility for such statement to be true.
