Emenda

Emenda – in terms of the Tort Law, this term refers to the remedy or award, given by the Court on proved damage claims. This is the financial compensation pursued by the claimant for the incurred injury or harming. Its role is to compensate the injured person for the negatives, experienced because of the wrongful action done to them. This is not a penalty to discipline the wrongdoer, but only a remedy to repair the damages In the practice, injured persons claim remedy for physical (a broken leg, for example) and mental injuries (pain and unpleasant feelings).
