Demo

Demo – this Latin verb means to take something away, to subtract it. Within the meaning, given by the Criminal Law in some legal systems, the act of taking a movable item away (i.e. changing its situation from its origin) forms one of the aspects of the thievery crime. In other words, the item does not any longer stay in the possession of its owner or possessor. A synonym of “demo” is “deporto” as these shares the same meaning.
