Defalcatus

Defalcatus – this Latin verb (past principle of defalcate) means deduct, curtail. Nowadays we use the term “defalcation” which in practice applies in the area of Criminal Law, where details the crime of misappropriation of funds. This crime represents the illegal use of property or money, committed by the people who have been engaged to control and manage these properties or money.
