De estoveriis habendis

De estoveriis habendis – in practice, this legal term usually applies in the area of Family Law. There it refers to court order, obliging an ex-spouse to start paying the alimony after the divorce towards the other spouse or towards their children. As provided by the Divorce Law, the alimony is a legal obligation of a physical individual to give financial support to an ex-spouse or a child. It is important to say that alimony is usually awarded by court for a concrete term (depending of the local legislation).
