Crimen injuria

Crimen injuria – this Latin term is interpretation of the phrase “crimen injuriae”, which literally translates as “accusation of abusive behavior”. This legal term is used in the area of Criminal Law, where refers to verbal offence, impairing the indignity of a person on the base of cultural, religious, racial or other bases and differences. Although the Latin word “injuria” itself literally means a physical wrongful action. Nowadays it is implemented in the South Africa Common Law.
