Consultum

Consultum – this Latin noun details the decree. In other words, it represents an order, issued by a leader with authority, which order has a role of legislation and is obligatory for the members of the society. For example a president or can issue a decree which binds all people in the country. Or a king or emperor can issue a decree as well - usually it was a practice in the ancient times. In practice, the word participates in the legal term “senatus consultum”, which referred to a decree, issued by the Senate in Ancient Rome.
