Latin Legal Terms

Nascor

Nascor – this Latin word literally means to be born, spring forth. In the legal practice, the word is used in the maxim “Leges humanae nascuntur, vivunt, morintur”, part of the Parliamentary Law. There it states that legislation is created, used (i.e. being in legal force) for concrete term and revoked at some point.
