Commissum

Commissum - undertaking that which is entrusted; enterprise. In practice the word relates to the legal phrase “lex loci delicti commissi”, applicable in the area of Tort claims. It refers to the place where the tort or wrongful action has been done. The role of this term is to establish the applicable law, which governs the lawsuit and which the court will use to deliver justice. Somewhere this phrase is detailed only as “lex loci delicti” or as “lex loci delictus”.
