Centum

Centum – this Latin term means 100, one hundred (as a number). In practice, it forms the legal term “centumviri”, which refers to ancient body of Probate court with jurisdiction to hear and decide on important lawsuits related to inheritances and disputed personal wills. This body of court was formed of 105 judges, incl. 3 people from each of the 35 tribes within the Roman Empire.
