Audentia

Audentia - it means boldness, courage. The term is formed from the word “audax”, that means “bold”. People who show courage usually in saving other people from accidents or disasters are being awarded by the Authorities, as these heroes show good example to the society with their braveness. This word is related to the term “audentes fortuna iuvat”, which literally means “Fortune favors the bold”. It relates also to the term “audacter”, meaning bravely, fearlessly, and as well formed from the word “audax”. A similar term is “audacia”.
