Auctus

Auctus - it means growth, enlargement, and increase (of number). Within the area of Law of Contracts, agreed penalties for delay in performance, can grow as much as the term of the delay is growing too. The goal is to discipline the debtor to perform their obligation and to pay towards creditors. A similar term is “autus”.
