Atrocitas

Atrocitas – this Latin term means: hashness, horror. It is formed from the word “atrox” – which in terms of Tort Law means terrible, cruel, horror. The Law provides that terrible feelings caused by the offender and expressed by the harmed individuals, can lead to mental damages and pursing a compensation.Another example lays within the Criminal Law, where some murders are punishable more seriously than others, where perfomed with cruelty towards the victim (for example, cutting the victim on several peaces).
