Adulescentia

Adulescentia - In terms of Family Law this legal term means “youth”. It is formed from the word “adulescens”, which means a young man, a lad. In other words - an underage man. It comes from the word “adultus”, which refers to a person who has grown up, mature, adult, of age. In different countries, reaching certain age (18 years old, for example), legally enables the young person to perform valid legal activities on their own and on their personal account, without involving the parents in it.
